Twin Flame: A Poem | Thursday Verse No. 29
The hues of distant waters and fading skies have always seemed to belong to the unreachable. Yet every so often, the distance between them and us narrows to the span of a single gaze.
Twin Flame is a poem about the rare moment when something vast and seemingly unreachable feels intimately near.

Your ocean eyes,
holding the azure sky,
ignite your sapphire smile,
when they meet the cyan of mine.
And I flare into a shower of cerulean,
refracting the radiance of your mien.
And for a moment,
You become me,
And I become you—
The union of our voltaic gaze,
coalescing us into a timeless blue blaze,
echoing tales of eons gone by,
as our paths converge once more beneath the indigo sky.
